Sharpening Diamond Abrasives with Sintered Segments

Diamond Abrasives with single layer electroplating or vacuum brazing cannot be used with this product

HOW TO USE:

When your diamond product experiences a drop off in cutting quality, follow these steps.

1) Reduce the RPM of your Tool to half the speed.

2) Pass your segment through the Sharpening Stone a minimum of two times. (For Blades, slowly Use the Short Length across the width of the Stone)

3) For Wet USE ONLY items, use water when sharpening your Diamond Segment. For Dry & Wet USE items, sharpen your Diamond Segments Dry.

4) Do NOT USE the Sharpening Stone on Electroplated or Vacuum Brazed Diamond Segments.

5) Once your segment is sharpened, test the item on a small portion of the working material until you are satisfied with the segment restoration.

• For Dry and Wet Use

• To optimize sharpening experience, try running your abrasives through the sharpening stone DRY. By design, the sharpening stone is intended to create additional friction and excess heat, to help with the sharpening process.

• If possible, please run your abrasives through the sharpening stone at slower speeds (On a variable speed grinder, try lowest settings.) This will create a grinding effect and will help you in achieving the best results.

• Safety first. Don’t apply an excess of pressure trying to sharpen your diamond abrasives. Letting the product work through the product with minimal effort is more than enough to achieve superior results.
